John Dunsworth passed away yesterday after a short unexpected illness. John played Jim Lahey masterfully., the joy of his acting will be missed.
I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of this gentle, talented and kindhearted man. On top of being the actor behind Jim Lahey, my favorite television character as well as the inspiration for my username, John Dunsworth was also highly known and respected in the theater community across his native Canada. He is survived by his wife and four children, as well as some grandchildren. I think I can speak for all Jim Lahey fans when I say he will be sorely missed.
