BF1 Frame drops!

  1. Everyone thought I was smoking crack, heres a video. Frames drop from 75 to garbage every few seconds, usually right as Im fighting someone. The video shows it doing it on the fucking spawn menu. This has been an issue since a patch in BF4.

It has nothing to do with my laptop, its done it on all my other previous desktops. Whether it was an i3/780Ti or an i5-6600k/1070, it still did it. I have yet to see a fix and its literally game breaking and unplayable.

  2. you have to have something running in the background... Windows just released there big update.. either way.. something is running in the background.. My son has an i3/rx480 and he has had this issue once.. when windows was updating something, or atleast running a check..

  3. I HAVE THIS SAME ISSUE! I no longer play because of it. I did a complete desktop reinstall and it helped for a short period of time and went back to shit. This is with a 1070 running at about 2000mhz a 6600k at 4.4 and 16GB of ram. I don't understand why I am having problems nor have I ever felt like spending hours troubleshooting what is an EA problem

  4. Most simple way to fix the issue is to just play PUBG instead.

  6. When I took this video, only Teamspeak was running in the background. Shadowplay and G-Sync turned off. Only reason its dipping to the 40's is because settings were set to low. When set to Ultra, fps drops to the low 20's. I cant imagine its a windows update issue, I keep my PC current with updates.

  7. Yep, same for me pretty much. idk why it sits at 99% CPU utilization either..

  8. Sitting at 99% CPU is why the frames are dropping.. need to check which service is using all the CPU.. I know everyone and there mother seems to be collecting data from our computers. From what sites we visit, what games we play, and yes Army even how much time you spend at Porn Hub watching videos. I turn all the telemetry tracking in windows off, went as far as getting a third party program to help stop some of the services. I also check with Netstat from the command prompt, to make sure my computer is phoning home to random places..

I have not noticed any from drops in any of the games I play.. but then again I am not looking for it either.

  9. its BF1 taking all the CPU..

  10. Pffft, I only spend 10 minutes a day on Pornhub. I literally run nothing but BF1 and TS when Im playing. Its BF that takes the CPU, nothing else.

Not even CPU heavy games like Cities:Skylines take more than BF1.
